Open this file in PowerPoint. 

  1. Click the white space on the left side of the screen. In the top menu, click Shape Format. Then click Shape Fill, then click Picture. Then add your photo. 
  2. Save the slide as a picture so you can use it on social media. After you’ve added your photo. Right click in the center of the slide and choose Save as Picture.

Instructions for use in Microsoft Outlook:

  1. From the Home tab, click New E-mail.
  2. From the Message tab, click the downward triangle under the Signature button.
  3. Click Signatures.
  4. Click the New button.
  5. Type a name for your new signature. (Suggested: “Ascend 2023 General”)
  6. Click the OK button.
  7. In the Edit signature section:

Create a Video on Your Phone

Preview your presentation by creating a short video on your phone. Using a smartphone, create a video (30 to 60 seconds in length) sharing the topic of your presentation. Introduce yourself as an Ascend presenter, highlight your topic with a brief description and let viewers know where to find your session live and virtually. Entice your audience with what they can look forward to experiencing with you and showcase how you will keep their attention during your session. Be sure to tag OATUG or OHUG when you post it. You can also send the video file to Karen Daniel, event marketing lead, kdaniel@oatug.org and it may be shared on our social media.
