Join us as we share our top tips and best practices for submitting to Ascend. By following the guidance given in this webinar, you can significantly increase your chances of having your session selected.

Presenters Should: 

1.

Have personal experience with the subject matter as an Oracle Applications User or incorporate the perspective and first-hand experience of a User into the presentation.

2.

Commit to actively participating in the event before, during, and after Ascend 2026 to engage with fellow presenters and registrants, answer questions, and share knowledge, both face-to-face and online.

3.

Commit to sharing and promoting Ascend 2026 within their networks.

It's simple to apply: 

 1. Determine if you are a User (Customer) Speaker or an Associate (Partner) Speaker:

User (Customer) Speakers
Individuals who work for a company/organization that utilizes at least one Oracle product or service in a business capacity, and does not resell services, support, Oracle products, or complimentary products to its customers. 

Associate (Partner) Speakers
Individuals who work for a company that sells to Oracle Users - products, services, support, or other complimentary offerings to Oracle products or services. Regardless of your business use of Oracle products, if you meet any of the Associate Speaker criteria, you are an Associate. 

2. Review the Ascend 2026 Education Tracks. 

3. Consider your topic and how it addresses users' educational needs. Sessions that promote moving off Oracle platforms will not be considered. 

4. View the Application Guidelines. 

5. Complete the application form no later than Friday, January 23, 2026, which consists of biographical information, plus:

  • Your presentation title; please see Title, Abstract, and Naming Rules. 
  • A short description (abstract) of your proposed session (520 characters or less)
  • Three learning objectives
  • An overview of your experience with the subject matter

User (Customer) Speakers receive a deeply discounted conference registration rate of $250 for Ascend, which includes access to all breakout sessions, keynotes, conference meals, and official OATUG/OHUG networking events.  

Associate (Partner) Speakers not registering with a complimentary pass included with their exhibit or sponsorship package will receive a deeply discounted registration rate of $650, which includes access to all breakout sessions, keynotes, conference meals, and official OATUG/OHUG networking events.  

  • Companies with a signed Exhibitor/Sponsor contract submitted for Ascend by January 23, 2026, will be given preferential time slots for selected presentations. 

  • Contracts for Ascend 2026 can be signed with either of the hosting user groups (OATUG or OHUG), regardless of your user group speaking assignment.

Oracle employees interested in speaking at Ascend can submit a proposal via the Call for Presentations or speak to your Oracle Product Lead and inform them you would like to present at Ascend 2026.

Industry Insight Sessions

Reach a targeted audience of customers by sponsoring a Vendor Awareness Session in a meeting room near the education sessions. Deliver a 60-minute showcase of how your product or service solves the current challenges faced by Oracle Users. A lead retrieval unit captures attendance details for post-event marketing efforts.   • Friday, March 27, 2026 Speaker Registration Deadline 
  • Week of April 1, 2026: Sessions are Scheduled & Listed on Website
  • Wednesday, May 13, 2026: Presentations Due
  • June 8-11, 2026: Attend Ascend 2026 at Caribe Royale in Orlando, FL
