Ascend 2026 Application Guidelines

We welcome all great ideas! Applicants may submit an unlimited number of presentation proposals during the call for presentations. However, to preserve a balanced perspective and eliminate bias in our educational agenda, we do have some limitations on the number of presentations that will ultimately be selected:

  1.  Up to two presentations will be selected per presenter conference-wide, not including  panel or SIG presentations. (You may participate in as many panels or SIG sessions as you’d like.) 

  2. Please review the Presenter Compliance Agreement and note: 
    • Sessions that promote moving off Oracle platforms will not be considered.
    • Submissions that include the speakers' names or their company’s name in the abstract or title will not be considered.
  3. Please see these rules and guidelines for how many presentations can be accepted:
    • All Presenters must be able to travel to Ascend 2026 in Orlando, FL, June 8-11.
    • Priority is given to OATUG & OHUG members, as members are the heart of our year-round community. You can check with OATUG Membership or OHUG Membership to make sure your employer is a current member. You must maintain membership through June 2026.
    • If your organization is not currently a User (Customer) or Associate (Partner) Member of OATUG or OHUG, your organization will be restricted to only one selected presentation for Ascend 2026.
    • Organizations that are OATUG/OHUG User (Customer) members or Associate (Partner) members exhibiting/sponsoring at Ascend 2026 may have up to three presentations selected for the conference. You must maintain membership through June 2026 to maintain eligibility for more than one presentation.
    • Organizations that are OATUG/OHUG Associate (Partner) members but NOT exhibiting/sponsoring at Ascend 2026 may be restricted to only one accepted presentation selected for the conference.
    • An OATUG Individual Member (whether User or Associate) may have only one presentation selected. If an Individual Member is an employee of a non-member organization, the organization will be subject to the limit of one selected presentation for Ascend 2026. You must maintain membership through June 2026.
  4. Education rooms are a marketing free zone. Sales pitches, marketing materials, signage, and product demos are not permitted. Ascend 2026 offers Industry Insight & Solution Showcase Sessions for this purpose.

  5. SIG (Special Interest Group) Sessions must include a complete title, abstract, and learning objectives (not just SIG meeting). Please include SIG in the title (e.g., OATUG Cloud ERP SIG: Successful Cloud Implementations and Transformations).  To be eligible, the SIG must be active and must have delivered a virtual session in both 2025 and 2026.
